Book description from Goodreads:
Twins Sera and Luke Raine have a well-kept secret - she heals with a touch of her hand, he sees the future. All their lives they've helped those in need on the sly. They've always though of their abilities as being a gift.
Then Luke has a vision that Sera is killed. That gift they've always cherished begins to feel an awful lot like a curse. Because the thing about Luke's ability? He's always right. And he can't do anything about it.

Teaser:

" Sera pushed a thought into Ethan. You have to go to the bathroom NOW. You can't hold it any longer. Ethan's eyes bugged and he glanced down the hall toward the boys' bathroom.
"Later for you," he said around Sera to Quinn, and took off running. " (Loc. 514).

It's not really abusing your powers if you're using them for good right? Even if the he might not make it to the bathroom in time... heh heh heh.

What's your teaser this Tuesday? Leave me a link in the comments and I'll be sure to swing by!

  1. Hi Ann,

This book isn't from a genre that I would generally read, however it sounds like a great story and one which I might well consider.

I can't imagine knowing that something is going to happen to someone close to you, and then not being able to do anything about it!

Using your powers to prevent a bad situation, is something completely different though and your teaser lines were quite humorous, unless of course you were Ethan and you didn't quite make it in time!!

Thanks for sharing and I hope that you enjoy the book.

  2. I agree with Yvonne. This was a delightful tease in a genre that I don't often pick up. Really relatable. Here's Mine

  3. I've looked at this one before but never cracked the cover but this teaser has me hoping that it's a funnier read than expected.
